The Stevens Competition for Architectural Glass Design is the only national competition of its kind and attracts entries from students and young artists from all over the country.

The annual competition demands an imaginative approach to design and workmanship of high quality. Entries are assessed by a distinguished panel of practising craftsmen. In recent years the competition has attracted a sponsor who has commissioned work of his or her choice from among the prizewinning entries. Sponsored commissions have now kick-started the careers of several talented young glass artists.
